PASSENGERS

  1. All passenger bookings made with Time & Tide Transport Pty Ltd for the “Baba Zorro” and ancillary “Bus Service” are subject to terms and conditions below.

Cancellations, Rebookings & Refunds 

  1. The following notice is required for cancellation of Passenger online bookings:
    1.  Cancellation occurring on the day of travel less than 24 hours prior to scheduled departure: The fare will be forfeited as per clause 5 or issued a Booking Voucher which is valid for future travel within 12 months of issue
    2. Cancellation occurring 24 hours or more prior to scheduled departure: The passenger can choose to rebook their travel or choose to be issued with a Booking Voucher which is valid for future travel within 12 months of issue.
  2. Rebooking is subject to seat availability, and new bookings may be subject to new terms and conditions.
  3. All re-bookings or cancellations can only be transacted by customers by using their online booking account.
  4. If passenger is a “no show” or cancels 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure, the fare will be forfeited.

Notice

  1. Time & Tide Transport (FNQ) Pty Ltd recommend purchasing suitable insurance against, theft, loss or damage of personal belongings.

Fares

  1. Local fare rates are only available for the personal travel of local residents and are not available for any form of business or commercial travel.
  2. Residents must be issued with a Letter of Eligibility through their participating local council before being able to book a local fare. If you have a valid Letter of Eligibility issued prior to 1 July 2022, it will remain valid.
  3.  Students claiming concessional fares will be required to present their student identification card.

Check-in

  1. Check-in will close 15 minutes prior to “Baba Zorro” scheduled departure.

Behaviour

  1. “Baba Zorro” IS A NON-SMOKING VESSEL.
  2. “Baba Zorro” IS A DRY VESSEL (NO ALCOHOL TO BE CONSUMED ONBOARD)
  3. You must always follow and carry out all lawful directions and rules given by “Baba Zorro” and Time & Tide Transport (FNQ) Pty Ltd crew and staff.
  4. You must take all reasonable precautions for your own safety and the safety of any person in your care, including but not limited to using handrails, controlling children and listening to relevant safety briefings.
  5. Children under 16 years of age (except Students) must be accompanied by an adult.

Freight & Dangerous Goods

  1. In the interests of comfort and safety, a baggage allowance of 2 PIECES OF CARRY-ON LUGGAGE PER PASSENGER is permitted in the designated luggage racks.
  2. Freight is to be booked in via the booking system prior to delivery to the “Baba Zorro” and/or alternatively appropriate instructions must be provided if freight is to be collected and/or delivered to the end location.
  3. If freight is to be delivered and no person is present to accept, then unless otherwise instructed freight will be left at the most appropriate location and scanned as delivered. Tide and Time Transport (FNQ) Pty Ltd will take no responsibility and the customer will indemnify Time & Tide Transport (FNQ) Pty Ltd for any loss, theft or damage to goods once outside of their custody.
  4. Oversized or heavy goods including furniture, lounge chairs and beds, TVs, carpet rolls or building materials. will not be carried on board at any time as walk on freight:
  5. Dangerous goods must be declared prior to travel. To find out more about dangerous goods, visit here.
  6. You warrant to us absolutely that no dangerous items (unless expressly permitted by us) shall be carried by you onboard. You must indemnify us on demand for any loss we suffer as a result of your breach of this warranty.
  7. We are not obliged to carry or otherwise handle dangerous items that we determine in our absolute discretion to be of a dangerous nature, including but not limited to petrol, fuel, LPG, propane cylinders, diving scuba tanks and pyrotechnics.

General

Transportation of Animals

  1. Domestic animals are allowed onboard the “Baba Zorro”. To ensure comfort and safety of passengers and crew, animals must be accompanied and restrained appropriately. Animals are not permitted on the saloon or viewing deck.
  2. The master of the vessel has the authority to refuse to carry any animal deemed to present a risk to passengers or crew.

General

  1. We exclude any term, condition or warranty that may otherwise be implied in this contract. We exclude any liability for any loss, including consequential loss, death or personal injury incurred as a result of or in connection with Time & Tide Transport (FNQ) Pty Ltd including that caused by our negligence. You indemnify us for any loss suffered or incurred by us (including for death or injury to any other passenger) caused by your negligence or breach of contract.
  2. Time & Tide Transport (FNQ) Pty Ltd is not a common carrier and does not contract as such. Time & Tide Transport (FNQ) Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility for any damages sustained to vehicles during travel on Time & Tide Transport (FNQ) Pty Ltd. We recommend purchasing suitable travel insurance.
  3. Time & Tide Transport (FNQ) Pty Ltd services may be cancelled or altered for various reasons at any time without notice. In this instance, bookings will be moved to service(s) of the customer’s choice (subject to availability) without incurring any liability whatsoever. All departure, arrival and journey times shown on any ticket, advertisement or notices are estimates only, and cannot be guaranteed.
  4. If a single ticket is issued to a person in relation to a number of passengers travelling in group, the person whom the ticket is issued will be held to have contracted with us as an agent for and on behalf of all of the passengers in the group, and all such passengers will be deemed to have entered into, and be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
